posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Manga has been running for nearly 8 years in Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine

Gaku Tsugano, the creator of the manga adaptation of Nagaru Tanigawa's The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya light novels, is announcing in the October issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine on Monday that the manga will end in the next chapter. The final chapter is scheduled to be published in the November issue on September 26.

Tsugano commented on the upcoming final chapter, saying, "Next time is the final chapter! I'll do my best to the end!"

The manga has been running the magazine for almost eight years, with serialization beginning in 2005's November issue. Kadokawa released the 19th volume of the manga in Japan in June, and Yen Presss released the 15th volume in North America in April.
