Hōzuki no Reitetsu TV Anime's Main Cast Announced

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Natsumi Eguchi's Hozuki no Reitetsu supernatural manga announced the main cast on Friday.
The cast is as follows:
- Hiroki Yasumoto as Hōzuki
- Takashi Nagasako as Enma Daiō
- Daisuke Hirakawa as Momotaro
- Yumiko Kobayashi as Shiro
- Hiroki Gotō as Kakisuke
- Takashi Matsuyama as Rurio
- Tetsuya Kakihara as Karauri
- Tōko Aoyama as Nasubi
- Eri Kitamura as Okō
- Sumire Uesaka as Peach Maki
- Kōji Yusa as Hakutaku
The website began streaming a second promotional video on August 10. The video confirms that a stage event for the anime will be held on October 26. The event will take place twice on that day at Nissho Hall in Tokyo's Minato ward. Nagasako, Kobayashi, Yusa, and other guests will attend.
The anime's first promotional video premiered at Japan Expo in Paris and Anime Expo in Los Angeles in July.
The dark comedy revolves around the fierce god aide to the Great King Yama, Hōzuki. Calm and super-sadistic, he tries to resolve problems that often occur in Hell.
Eguchi began the manga in Kodansha's Morning magazine in 2011, and Kodansha published the tenth compiled volume on August 23. The manga was nominated for the fifth Manga Taisho Award last year, and was also chosen as a jury selection at the 16th Japan Media Arts Festival Awards last year.
