The IDOLM@STER Movie's New Promo Features Footage From Film

posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Insert song "Ramune Iro Seishun" also previewed for film premiering January 25

Website Famitsu began streaming a promotional video for the upcoming The IDOLM@STER film, THE IDOLM@STER MOVIE: Kagayaki no Mukōgawa e! (The IDOLM@STER Movie: To the Glittering Other Side!), featuring brand new footage from the movie. The video features the song “Ramune Iro Seishun” (Ramune-Colored Youth) by the 765PRO ALLSTARS, which will serve as an insert song for the film.

765 Productions secretary Kotori Otonashi (voiced by Juri Takita) narrates the promotional video, and explains that the girls are currently in the middle of a training camp. After the New Years' concert, the agency has always been very busy, and each idol has been working in their respective field. However, the girls all gather together for the first time in quite a while to attend the camp. The girls are at the camp because they have made themselves a large goal: To hold an arena concert.

The staff will be same as that from the second television series, including the anime studio A-1 Pictures, writers Atsushi Nishigori and Tatsuya Takahashi, and director/character designer Atsushi Nishigori.

The film will premiere in Japanese theaters on January 25, 2014.
