Akiba's Trip 2 Game's 2nd Trailer Showcases Anime Sequences

2nd vampire-stripping action game debuts in Japan on November 7

A trailer for Acquire's upcoming Akiba's Trip 2 PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita game began streaming on Tuesday. The video features the opening song "True Story" by Luna Haruna ( Fate/Zero, Sword Art Online, Monogatari Series Second Season)



In the sequel to the 2011 vampire-hunting action game, the protagonist once again faces demons and vampires in Tokyo's Akihabara (Akiba) district. The only way to defeat the vampires is to strip their clothing and expose them to the sunlight.

An earlier trailer was streamed on September 1.



The game's cast includes:


Chiwa Saito as Tōko Sagisaka, a student who attends a women's college in Akihabara. She is the hero's childhood friend who is like a sister to him.


Sachika Misawa as Shizuku Tokikaze, a girl who helps save the hero but is taken away by a mysterious organization when she is on the verge of death. She talk about her mission to bury the manmade vampires known as magaimono. She wields a mysterious power.


Eriko Nakamura as Shion Kasugai, a talented 26-year-old who became CEO of a pharmaceutical company. Her interest in the magaimono cases has her often crossing paths with the protagonist. Is she an enemy or an ally?


Aya Suzaki as Nana, the protagonist's little sister. She is an indoors-type of person who is full of imagination and loves Western clothes and sewing. She is not much for socializing, but she adores her brother, whom she calls "Niini."

The game will ship for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on November 7. The PS3 version will retail for 7,329 yen (about US$74), and the PS Vita version will retail for 6,594 yen (US$66). The first copies of the game will come with a "Tokidoki Tokyo Onsen Monogatar"i drama CD, a special booklet, and a bonus DLC costume.
