Viz's Entire Manga Catalog Now on Amazon Kindle Platform

Viz Media added its entire digital manga catalog to Amazon's Kindle Store on Tuesday. The catalog includes over 1,500 volumes of manga and 160 series for Kindle Fire tablets and Kindle Paperwhite electronic devices. Individual manga volumes are priced at US$6.99.
Viz also completed its price increase from the previous US$4.99 cost per volume across all electronic platforms on Tuesday. Viz Media said that the price increase was necessary for "ensuring we support the creators, editors and everyone who makes it [manga] happen. Those people need our support otherwise they will be unable to do what they love and bring everyone amazing manga."
Samples of series include Naruto, Bleach, Bakuman., One Piece, Demon Love Spell, and Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic.
Viz launched its library on the Kobo e-reading service in July.
