Triple-feature screenings to be shown dubbed & subtitled

Viz Media's Berserk: The Golden Age Arc films will get triple-feature screenings at two of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema's Houston-area locations on October 26 and 27. All three films will be shown back to back. The films will be shown subtitled at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Vintage Park in Houston on the 26th, followed by dubbed screenings at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Mason Park in Katy on the 27th. Tickets are US$15 to see all three films.

Studio 4°C's film adaptations of Kentarō Miura's Berserk manga include Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I - The Egg of the King, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc II - The Battle for Doldrey, and Berserk: The Golden Age Arc III - The Advent.

Viz Media premiered the English-dubbed version of The Battle for Doldrey at the New People Cinema in San Francisco on May 11 as part of a double feature with the first Berserk movie, and both films also aired simultaneously on Neon Alley. Viz released The Battle for Doldrey on DVD in North America in August.

The Advent wad screened at Montreal's Fantasia International Film Festival in August, and it won The Satoshi Kon Award for Achievement in Animation. The film opened in Japan in January.
