Linked Horizon, T.M. Revolution, Nana Mizuki rank in annual singles chart

Oricon announced its top rankings lists for 2013 on Sunday, including singles, albums, artist total sales, DVDs, music DVDs, Blu-Rays, and music Blu-rays. Among the top 100 sold singles this year was Linked Horizon's Attack on Titan opening single, titled "Jiyū e no Shingeki" at #30 with 230,810 copies sold. It featured both openings, "Guren no Yumiya" and "Jiyū no Tsubasa."

T.M. Revolution and Nana Mizuki also ranked on the chart with their two Valvrave the Liberator themes. "Preserved Roses" ranked #35 with 175,828 copies, while "Kakumei Dualism" ranked #59 with 113,170 copies. ST☆RISH from Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 2000% was #94 with 77,330 copies of "Maji Love 2000%."

The "Jiyū e no Shingeki" CD sold 58,770 copies on its 1st day of release in mid-July. The CD ranked second on its first day of sales. Within that same week, it sold 129,110, keeping the same ranking as it had on its first day.

This is the second single from Linked Horizon, the relatively new project from Sound Horizon composer Revo. It is also the first single or album from either Linked Horizon or Sound Horizon to sell over 100,000 copies. Linked Horizon's first single, "Luxendarc Shōkikō," went on sale last August and ranked #8 during its first week. Sound Horizon's best-performing single, "Ido e Itaru Mori e Itaru Ido," ranked #2 in its first week with 69,000 copies in June of 2010.

The top three spots on the Oricon single rankings were all held by AKB48.
