Yukari Tamura Sings in Music Video from No-Rin TV Anime

A music video for "Cordless Tere Phone," a song from the upcoming No-Rin television anime, debuted on the niconico service on Friday. Voice actress Yukari Tamura performs the song as her character Yuka "Yukatan" Kusakabe, the "cutest idol in the universe."
The music video features the concert version of Yukatan's new song. The CD with "Cordless Tere Phone" and the anime's ending theme "Mo Gi Ta Te Fruits Girls" will go on sale on January 22, 2014. Tamura's single for the anime's opening theme song will debut on February 5.
The anime itself will star Shintarō Asanuma (Love Lab, Muromi-san) as Kōsaku Hata, a student and idol otaku at Tamo Agricultural High School (Tamo Nōrin Kōkō, shortened to No-Rin). Tamura plays Ringo Kinoshita, a new transfer student who recently retired as the idol Yukatan. (The cast remains unchanged from the drama CD of Shiratori Shirow and illustrator Kippu's original romantic comedy light novel series.)
Shin Oonuma (WATAMOTE, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Dusk maiden of Amnesia) is directing the series at SILVER LINK (WATAMOTE, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, Dusk maiden of Amnesia). Michiko Yokote (Genshiken Second Season, Princess Tutu, xxxHOLiC) is in charge of series composition and Masahito Onoda (Student Council's Discretion Level 2) is adapting Kippu's original character designs.
The anime will premiere on January 10 on the Tokyo MX TV station.
