Episode 97 listed as Omega Awakening arc's final episode before Notari Matsutaro's anime premiere

The Oricon news source confirmed on Monday that the Saint Seiya Omega television anime will end in March. The anime is now airing on the TV Asahi network at 6:30 a.m. on Sundays; Abarenbō Rikishi!! Matsutarō, the anime of Tetsuya Chiba's sumo manga Notari Matsutaro, will take over the timeslot on April 6.

Bandai Visual lists the Blu-ray and DVD boxes for Saint Seiya Omega's Omega Kakusei (Omega Awakening) arc as the "final volume," and they also list episode 97 as the final episode.

Saint Seiya Omega is the anime sequel to Masami Kurumada's 1986-1990 Saint Seiya mythological fantasy manga and Toei's subsequent 1986-1989 television anime. Omega premiered in Japan in April 2012 as the first Saint Seiya television anime in 23 years. It also inspired its own manga adaptation. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime into several countries as it airs in Japan.
