Series about mysterious woman launches on Shogakukan's MobaMAN website

The editorial department of Shogakukan's digital Comic Soon website announced on Tuesday that manga creator Aki Katsu (Futari H/Manga Sutra) will start a new series on the publisher's MobaMAN site. The manga will star a mysterious woman, and Shogakukan notes that the manga's title will reference "The Invisible Man."

Shogakukan also posted two rough pages from the manga:

The series will launch on MobaMAN on Friday.

Katsu (Psychic Academy, The Vision of Escaflowne) has been drawing Manga Sutra, which describes itself as a "love bible" or a "user's manual" for people in love, in Young Animal and Young Animal Arashi since 1997. The manga has sold 23 million copies so far, and Hakusensha will publish the 60th compiled book volume on April 28. Katsu ended his Dandy Maniac manga in Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Ryū in the magazine's November 2013 issue.

Tokyopop published Katsu's The Vision of Escaflowne, Psychic Academy, and Manga Sutra in North America before closing its doors in 2011.

A third live-action film based on the manga shipped on home video in Japan in 2012.
