PlayStation 4 Reaches 7 Million Units Sold Worldwide

Sid Shuman, Sony Computer Entertainment America's social media manager, announced that Sony has sold seven million PlayStation 4 units worldwide as of April 6.
According to Shuman, 20.5 million PlayStation games have sold at retail and PlayStation Store worldwide as of April 13.
Famitsu reported a total of 322,083 PlayStation 4 units sold during the console's launch weekend in Japan on February 22-23. Sony sold one million PlayStation 4 consoles in the first 24 hours since its launch in the United States and Canada in November. The console reached six million units sold last month.
