14th & final volume of Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's series to ship in Japan in November

The July issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's 14th and final Neon Genesis Evangelion manga volume will be published in 18 countries and territories simultaneously. The volume will ship simultaneously in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, Poland, Italy, Spain, France, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.

Kadokawa announced in April that the 14th volume will ship in Japan on November 20. The final volume will add 28 previously unpublished manga pages.

The Young Ace issue unveils the design for the bookends for the entire 14-volume manga set that will be bundled with the limited edition of the final volume. The limited edition will also include an original cover, a booklet with about 16 pages and exclusive illustrations by Sadamoto, and a "Yoshiyuki Sadamoto Working Music CD." The CD will feature music that the creator liked to listen to when he was drawing manga.

Sadamoto launched the manga in the third issue ever published of Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in December of 1994 — before the anime premiered on television. It then ran on and off for over 18 years. He ended the manga's magazine run last June.
