Akemi Satou voices 1,018-year-old "Tengu style" fighter

This week's issue of Enterbrain's Famitsu magazine announced on Thursday that Koei Tecmo Games is adding a new character to its Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate Arcade game. Akemi Satou will voice the new character Nyotengu.

Nyotengu practices the "Tengu style" of fighting, and she is 1,018 years old in human years. Her nationality, birthday, blood type, weight, occupation, and hobbies are unknown. She is 172 centimeters tall, and her favorite food is steamed buns.

The game also features the new character Marie Rose, alongside other characters Kasumi, Ayane, Helena, Hayabusa, Momiji, Hitomi, Ein, Kokoro, Akira, Jann Lee, Leifang, Tina, Bass, Sarah, Jacky, Pai, Gen Fu, Eliot, Brad, Hayate, Christie, Rig, Mariposa, Bayman, Leon, Rachel, Zack, Mila, and Alpha-152.

The game is the first arcade game in the franchise in 13 years, and Koei Tecmo Games released the game in arcades in Japan in winter 2013.

Koei Tecmo Games released Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013. The game added new modes from Dead or Alive+ such as the Skill Info Plus and a tutorial mode, and included new fighting stages such as locations from the Ninja Gaiden series. The game included new fighters, including Jacky, Ein, and the first-ever appearance of Momiji, and also featured both a single-player mode and an online mode.

The Dead or Alive 5+ PS Vita port of the original Dead or Alive 5 game shipped in March 2013 in North America and Japan. Koei Tecmo Games released the original Dead or Alive 5 game for the Xbox 360 and PS3 in September 2012.
