Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX's E3 Trailer Reveals December Launch

Collection featuring Kingdom Hearts II, Birth By Sleep, Re:coded arrives December 2 in N. America

The PlayStation channel streamed the English-dubbed E3 trailer for Square Enix's upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX PlayStation 3 game on Thursday. The trailer reveals that the game will ship on December 2 in North America. It will ship on December 5 in Europe. The trailer also includes teaser dialogue regarding the Kingdom Hearts III game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The game will contain Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix (an updated version of Kingdom Hearts II that Square Enix originally released only in Japan for the PS2), Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix (an updated version of Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep that Square Enix originally released only in Japan for the PSP), and HD remastered cutscenes of the Kingdom Hearts Re:coded Nintendo DS game.

Square Enix released the first PS3 HD remaster of its Kingdom Hearts role-playing game series in March in Japan. That game contained Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, as well as HD remastered cutsenes of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. Square Enix shipped the game in North America, Australia, and Europe in September.
