Nisekoi PS Vita Game's Title, Genre Revealed

The official website for Konami's upcoming PlayStation Vita game inspired by Naoshi Komi's Nisekoi manga updated on Tuesday, and revealed that the title of the game will be Nisekoi: Yomeiri!? (False Love: Marriage!?). The romance/adventure game will allow the player to interact with the series heroines, and a main story route for both Chitoge and Kosaki have been confirmed. The website also features a countdown that is scheduled to end on July 19 at 9 a.m. JST.

The first promotional video for the game will debut at the Jump Victory Carnival, which will be held in Tokyo and Osaka in July.

The website has many photos with dialogue from the figures of Chitoge and Kosaki:

When the picture of the inari sushi is clicked, Chitoge says, “Does inari sushi really have anything to do with video games?”

When the picture of the dango and manju snacks are clicked, Kosaki says, “These dango look delicious... Is it OK if I eat them?”

The manga revolves around Raku Ichijō (Kōki Uchiyama), a normal high school student who happens to be the heir to a yakuza group. The attractive but violent transfer student Chitoge Kirisaki (Nao Tōyama), the heir to a rival yakuza group, transfers to his class, and the two must pretend to date to keep a war from breaking out between their families.

The manga already inspired the Nisekoi Majikore!? "heroine-training true-love collection game" from Konami on Android and iOS devices. Chitoge is also a support character in Namco Bandai Games' J-Stars Victory Vs. "team battle action" video game.

Viz Media is releasing the original manga digitally and in print. The manga inspired a television anime and original video anime from chief director Akiyuki Shinbo, director Naoyuki Tatsuwa, character designer Nobuhiro Sugiyama, the anime studio SHAFT. Aniplex of America plans to release the television anime series on home video, and Crunchyroll streamed the television anime as it aired in Japan.
