Nana Mizuki Resumes Tour After Recovering From Inflamed Vocal Cords

Doctors approve return on July 5 after she canceled 3 stops in June

Voice actress and singer Nana Mizuki is resuming her tour this year after having to cancel three concerts due to acute vocal cord inflammation and upper respiratory tract inflamation. She plans to perform at her July 5 Yamagata and July 6 Miyagi stops of her "animelo mix presents Nana Mizuki Live Flight 2014 supported by JOYSOUND Calbee Japan Airlines" tour.

King Records and her management at Sigma Seven reported that she received treatment and took time off for rest and recuperation. According to her doctors' examination, she has recuperated enough to sing and perform in her concerts. She is also returning to her voice-acting work.

Mizuki had canceled her June 22 concert in Kitakyūshū, Fukuoka, and then her concerts in Yamaguchi and Tottori on June 28 and 29, respectively. The "Nana Mizuki Live Flight 2014" tour began on June 1 and runs until August 3.

Mizuki's anime roles include Naruto's Hinata, Blood-C's Saya, and Minami-ke's Tōma. She has performed theme songs for anime such as Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Dog Days, and Senki Zesshō Symphogear. Japan's Agency for Cultural Affairs named Mizuki Rookie of the Year in the Popular Entertainment division of the 64th Annual Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) Art Encouragement Prizes in March.
