Voices of Free! Eternal Summer's Haruka, Makoto star in series premiering on October 6

The September issue of Media Factory's Monthly Comic Gene magazine is announcing on Tuesday two of the cast members that will lead the television anime adaptation of Itokichi's Orenchi no Furo Jijō (The Circumstances in My Home's Bathtub) manga.

Nobunaga Shimazaki (Free! Eternal Summer's Haruka, GLASSLIP's YUKINARI) will star as the main protagonist Tatsumi (seen right in the image), while Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Free! Eternal Summer's Makoto, Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts's Yūji) will play Takasu, an octopus man who sometimes shows up at Tatsumi's home.

The magazine is also listing that the anime will premiere on Japanese television on October 6.

Itokichi's four-panel manga begins with Tatsumi, a high school boy who lives by himself. Then, a devastatingly handsome merman named Wakasa moves into the bathtub in Tatsumi's home. Wakasa is a bit self-centered but cute, while Tatsumi is cool but a busybody. The manga offers a peek into their lives together.

Sayo Aoi (Deadman Wonderland, Say, "I Love You". episode director) will direct the series at Asahi Production (Alice in the Country of Hearts: Wonderful Wonder World). Yuniko Ayana (Kin-iro Mosaic, Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing-) will handle the series composition and Koji Haneda (Sengoku Paradise Kiwami) will handle the character design.
