Pokémon XY Special: Strongest Mega Evolution II's Promo Streamed

November 6 special to feature Mega Charizard & more Mega Evolutions

The Pokémon Company began streaming the first promotional video for the Pocket Monsters XY Tokubetsu Hen: Saikyō Mega Shinka ~Act II~ (Pokémon XY Special: The Strongest Mega Evolution ~Act II~/Pokémon: Mega Evolution Special II) special last Friday.

Allen: I'm going to defeat all the Mega-Evolved Pokémon with this Lizardon [Charizard], and then stand at the top.
Narrator: A new story about Mega Evolutions. Seeking ancient documents, Allen arrived in the Hoenn region.
Allen: Answer to my heart, Keystone!!
Daigo: Overcome evolution! Mega Evolution!
Narrator: Pocket Monster XY Special Episode ~The Strongest Mega Evolution Act II~. Starting up on November 6.

The special is slated to air on November 6 at 7:00 p.m. on TV Tokyo and its affiliates. The cast includes:

TV Tokyo describes the story of the two acts:

Mega Evolution. A new evolutionary form introduced in the Kalos Region. Is it really possible for all Pokémon to undergo Mega Evolution? This story revolves around a young trainer named Alan and his partner Lizadon (Charizard). Allen's objective on his journey is to "defeat all Mega Evolution Pokémon and stand at the top of the strongest summit." Along their journey Allen and Charizard meet and battle with Mega Absol and Mega Gaburias (Mega Garchomp). Additionally, Allen will battle with Zumi (Siebold), one of the Kalos Elite Four. Does Siebold also have a Mega Evolution Pokémon? Why is Allen so obsessed with Mega Evolution? And what is the real purpose of his journey?

The ongoing Pokémon XY television anime series normally airs on TV Tokyo in this 7:00 p.m. timeslot on Thursdays. The series began airing on Cartoon Network in January.
