Madman Entertainment Acquires Trinity Seven and Your Lie in April

Trinity Seven now streaming on AnimeLab.com and Your Lie in April will begin on Friday;

Madman Entertainment made the announcement via news post on Madman.com.au announcing all seven of their current streaming lineup for AnimeLab.com.

Trinity Seven was also announced on the Animelab facebook page. You can view episode 1 on Animelab.com by clicking here and ANN's thoughts on the episode here.

Your Lie in April will begin streaming on AnimeLab.com from Friday the 17th of October. You can view ANN's thoughts on episode 1 in the Autumn preview guide here.

With those two announcements Madman's AnimeLab simulcast lineup is as follows;

The announcement states that more titles will be added in coming weeks.

Gundam: Reconguista in G, Garo: The Animation and Cross Ange are all simulcast and up to date with the Japanese broadcast while Trinity Seven, When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace and Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works are (currently) all a week behind Japan. We are unsure if Your Lie in April will begin with one episode or two and have approached Madman for comment.

Gundam: Reconguista in G, Garo: The Animation, Cross Ange, Trinity Seven, When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace and Your Lie in April will receive home video releases from Madman Entertainment in the future. Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works TV will be released to home video by Hanabee.

Trinity Seven

Kasuga Arata has spent his entire normal boring life living with his cousin Hijiri Kasuga. However on the day of the Black Sun, Arata's life changes when the "Collapse Phenomenon" destroys his town, damages the world and locks him within a dream of his own creation. Now finding his ordinary life is a lie, Arata decides to train to become a mage at the Royal Biblia Academy to recover Hijiri. But first he must pull the seven most power magic users onto his cause, the Trinity Seven.

Based on a manga by writer artist team Kenji Saitō (executive producer on Bakuman) and Akinari Nao (Psycho Busters), Trinity Seven launched in Fujimi Shobo's Monthly Dragon Age magazine in 2011 and Kadokawa published the ninth volume in August.

Hiroshi Nishikiori (Azumanga Daioh, A Certain Magical Index) is directing the series at Seven Arcs Pictures (Mushibugyō) alongside Hiroyuki Yoshino (Magi, Vividred Operation) handling series composition. Shinpei Tomooka (Sekirei, Day Break Illusion) is serving as both character designer and chief animation director and Kyoko Kotani is also serving as chief animation director. TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND are composing the music. You can view the character designs here.

The series premiered on TV Tokyo on October 7 and followed broadcast on TV Aichi, TV Osaka, and AT-X.

Crunchyroll is also streaming the series in most regions, including Australia and New Zealand. However only premium members have simulcast as free members will need to wait a week for access.

Your Lie in April (Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso)

Piano prodigy Kousei Arima has had his mother taken from him at the tender age of 11 and the resulting shock left Kousei unable to play his beloved music. Now three years later Kousei finds his life monotonous and dull, but when free-spirited violinist Kaori Miyazono collides with Kousei he starts to rediscover the instrument he left behind and move forward in his life.

Kyōhei Ishiguro (Fairy Tail, Psycho-Pass episode director) is directing the anime at A-1 Pictures off scripts by Takao Yoshioka (High School DxD, WATAMOTE). Yukiko Aikei (Accel World, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere) is serving as character designer and chief animation director. Masaru Yokoyama (Queen's Blade, Freezing Vibration) is composing the music, while Jin Aketagawa (High School DxD, anohana) is sound director.

Your Lie in April is based on a original shōnen manga by Naoshi Arakawa, the series debuted in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine in 2011 and the eighth compiled volume shipped in Japan this past January. The series won the Best Shōnen Manga category in Kodansha's 37th Annual Manga Awards last year.

The anime premiered on Fuji TV's Noitamina block on the 10th of October 2014 at 1:15am. The series is being streamed by Aniplex Channel, Hulu and Crunchyroll. If you would like to view character designs for the series you can click here.
