Solanin's Asano Draws Art for MyNavi Rental TV Ad

Manga creator Inio Asano (Solanin, Nijigahara Holograph) drew the illustrations in a MyNavi Chintai (MyNavi Rental) commercial that begins airing in Japan on Saturday.
Narration and Text: Find rooms for twentysomethings! MyNavi Chintai!
The "20-dai no Heya-hen" (Rooms for Twentysomethings) commercial shows how the MyNavi Chintai service lets young people find living spaces that fit their different lifestyles. The characters profiled include a man living alone who searched for a place "near the station," a woman with a dog who searched for an apartment that "allows pets," a couple who searched for a place "for two," and a woman searching for a room on the service.
Asano also recently designed the characters for a K-Swiss shoes promotional video. Asano began the Dead Dead Demon's Dededededestruction manga in April, but the series went on hiatus last month and is slated to return in this spring. Viz Media has published Asano's previous series Solanin and What a wonderful world!, and Fantagraphics Books published Asano's horror manga Nijigahara Holograph.
