Marvel's vice president of publishing Tom Brevoort announced in the live "Secret Wars" presentation at New York City's Midtown Comics that his company will offer the Attack on Titan and Marvel crossover comic Attack on Avengers in English as part of Free Comic Book Day. "Secret Wars" is a new arc in the Marvel franchise that will eventually combine "all the universes you can imagine," including the current Marvel Universe and Ultimate Universe. Marvel will include the Attack on Titan crossover in its Secret Wars #0 issue.

Magazine House's Brutus magazine published the one-shot featuring The Avengers and Guardians of Galaxy as they battle the Female Titan, Colossal Titan, Armored Titan, and others in New York City in November. The original publication featured English dialogue, but included a Japanese translation guide. Original manga creator Hajime Isayama himself created the plot for the comic.

The full staff lineup includes:

Scenario: Hajime Isayama
Breakdown: C.B. Cebulski
Line Artist: Gerardo Sandoval
Color Artist: Dono Sanchez Almara
Assistant Editor: Jake Thomas
Editor: Tom Brevoort
Editor in Chief: Axel Alonso
Chief Creative Officer: Joe Quesada
Publisher: Dan Buckley
Executive Producer: Alan Fine

Free Comic Book Day will take place throughout North America on Saturday, May 2. Kodansha Comics will offer its own Free Comic Book Day sampler with Attack on Titan, Fairy Tail, The Seven Deadly Sins, Noragami, and more. Other publishers participating in this year's Free Comic Book Day include Viz Media (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon) and Udon Books (Street Fighter Super Combo Special).
