Spin-off of The Devil Is a Part-Timer! light novel series began in 2012

The March issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Daioh magazine is announcing on Tuesday that Kurone Mishima's Hataraku Maou-sama! High School! (The Devil Is a Part-Timer! High School!) spin-off manga will end in the next issue, which will be released on February 27.

The manga is a spin-off of Satoshi Wagahara's original light novel series, and turns the characters into modern day Japanese high school students. Reborn as a high school student, Sadao Maō aims to become president of the student council, while Emi also aims to nominates herself.

The manga with art by MIshima began in Dengeki Daioh in 2012, and Kadokawa shipped the fourth compiled volume in Japan last September.

Wagahara launched the light novel series in 2011 as his debut work, and Kadokawa Group Publishing released the 12th volume last September. Yen Press will release the first volume of the light novel series in English in April 2015. Funimation licensed and released the anime adaptation in North America last July.
