posted on by Daryl Lee Hale
Video features characters' unique abilities, customization options

Bandai Namco Games released the fourth promo for its upcoming fighting game Dragon Ball Xenoverse on Wednesday.

The video showcases playable characters, including Goku, Piccolo, Trunks, Vegeta, Gohan, Tien Shinhan, and Yamcha. Players can also choose to play as one of the show's villains, including Frieza, Cell, Majin Boo, and Android 17. The video highlights the character's abilities in standard gameplay as well as in multiplayer online play.

The promo also features the game's character customization options, which allow the player to change a character's hair color, clothing style, and scouter color.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse will ship for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 consoles in Japan on February 5, and then in the United States on February 24 and in Europe on February 27. It will also debut on PC via Steam on February 27.

The exclusive day one edition in the United States will include Frieza Soldier battle suits and Super Saiyan IV Vegeta as a playable character. The first copies in Japan will include a download code for Akira Toriyama's manga hero Jaco the Galactic Patrolman as a playable character. Other early Japanese bonuses include a download code for a Master Roshi set of character customization, a Trunks:Xeno battle card for the Dragon Ball Heroes game, and a serial code to use Trunks:Xeno in the Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle smartphone game.

Bandai Namco Games unveiled the game in Japan last May and announced in June that the game will receive a Western release. In Japan, the game will feature an original video anime (OVA) relating to the events in the game.
