3-member band to end after March 23 concert
The official website for the Sket Dance-inspired band The Sketchbook announced on Friday that the band will stop performing together after their March 23 concert at Shibuya's Tatsuya O-West. The announcement explains that, due to each member's desire to completely focus on their own dream, the group will be dissolved. The members also thank their fans for their immense support and warm encouragement over the past four years.
The three-member band began performing together in July 2011. Their first single on a major label, "Michi," became the second opening theme song for the Sket Dance television anime in 2011. The band performed the majority of the Sket Dance opening and ending theme songs.
