PS3/PS4/Xbox 360/Xbox One/PC game shipped last week in West

Bandai Namco Games Europe began streaming the English launch trailer for the Dragon Ball Xenoverse fighting game on Friday. The trailer shows the game's cast, customization features, and battles.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse shipped for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 consoles in Japan on February 5 and debuted as the #1 bestselling game for that week. The game shipped in the United States on February 24 and in Europe on February 27. It also debuted on PC via Steam on February 27.

The exclusive day one edition in the United States includes Frieza Soldier battle suits and Super Saiyan IV Vegeta as a playable character. Three DLC packs with extra costumes and quests are available for US$9.99 each or US$24.99 with a season pass. The first pack includes Goku, Pan, and Trunks as they appear in Dragon Ball GT. The third pack includes a Master Roshi set of character customization and Akira Toriyama's manga hero Jaco the Galactic Patrolman as a playable character.

Jaco and the Master Roshi set were first run bonuses in Japan. Other early Japanese bonuses include a Trunks:Xeno battle card for the Dragon Ball Heroes game and a serial code to use Trunks:Xeno in the Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle smartphone game.

In Japan, the game featured an original video anime (OVA) relating to the events in the game.
