Series about border between life & death returned from hiatus in June

This year's April issue of Kodansha 's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine is announcing on Monday that Kouji Seo's Half & Half manga will end in the June issue on May 9.

Half & Half follows Yuki and Shinichi, who die at the same time when Yuki tries to commit suicide. They find themselves in the world on the border between life and death, where mysterious divine message tells them that one of them may live again, and they have a week to decide. They both begin to think, "If you died, I could live…."

The original Half & Half Manga ONE-shot was Seo's debut work in a Kodansha's Magazine Fresh in 1996. He then turned the story into a full series in 2012. Kodansha shipped the first compiled volume in August, 2013. Seo resumed the series last July after a hiatus.

Seo launched Fuuka in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in February after ending Kimi no Iru Machi (A Town Where You Live), and Crunchyroll is simul-publishing Fuuka as it is released in Japan. Seo is also serializing Princess Lucia in Mag Garden's Comic Blade.
