Limit's Keiko Suenobu to End Hope Manga

posted on by Kiara Valdez
Slice-of-life series about aspiring manga artist debuted in 2014

This year's April issue of Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend (Betsufure) magazine will publish the final chapter of Keiko Suenobu's Hope manga on Friday. The final installment will have 50 pages with a color opening. Kodansha will ship the sixth and final compiled volume in Japan on April 13.

Suenobu launched Hope in Bessatsu Friend in February 2014. The story follows Hikari as she tries to become Japan's best shōjo manga artist and as she experiences first love.

North American publisher Vertical released the sixth and final volume of Suenobu's Limit series in 2013. Del Rey had once published it under the title The Limit. Tokyopop published part of Suenobu's earlier Life manga before shutting down its North American publishing operations in 2011.
