Record of Lodoss War: The Grey Witch Manga Ends in April

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Takuma launched fantasy manga in December 2013

The April issue of Kadokawa's Comptiq magazine announced on Tuesday that Tomomasa Takuma's Record of Lodoss War: The Grey Witch manga series will end in the next Comptiq issue, which Kodansha will publish on April 10.

Yoshihiko Ochi adapted Ryo Mizuno's original story and Yutaka Izubuchi's original illustrations in an earlier manga adaptation. Central Park Media's CPM Manga imprint published that earlier manga in North America. CPM describes the story:

Parn, the strong-headed fighter. Deedlit, the young and haughty elf. Ghim, the grizzled Dwarf. Etoh, the young priest. Slayn, the sorcerer. And Woodchuck, the thief. These six must again unite as the evil of the Grey Witch permeates all of Lodoss Island!

Tomomasa Takuma (Code Geass: Nightmare of Nunnally, Code Geass: Renya of the Darkness, Kurogane Communication) launched the manga in Comptiq in December 2013. Kadokawa published the manga's second compiled book volume on December 8.

Mizuno's original Record of Lodoss War stories inspired the 1990 Record of Lodoss War video anime series and the 1998 Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight television anime sequel. Central Park Media licensed and released both fantasy titles in North America.
