Pro wrestler to face off against Yuma in extra segment of episode premiering April 5

This year's 18th issue of Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that professional wrestler Kazuchika Okada will voice a character in the World Trigger TV anime. The wrestler will play a C-Class Border member that is designed after himself.

The character will premiere in the 24th episode on April 5. The magazine also hints that Yuma and Owada's character will butt heads during the extra segment of the episode.

Daisuke Ashihara's original World Trigger manga debuted in 2013's 11th issue of Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Viz Media added the series to its digital anthology version of Weekly Shonen Jump, and it will publish the fifth print volume on April 7.

Viz Media describes the manga's story:

Weekly Shonen Jump's newest series is out of this world! A gate to another dimension has burst open, and from it emerge gigantic invincible creatures that threaten all of humanity. Earth's only defense is a mysterious group of warriors who have co-opted the alien technology in order to fight back!

The World Trigger television anime from Toei Animation premiered on October 5 at 6:30 a.m. on the TV Asahi station and its affiliates. The manga is also inspiring the fighting game World Trigger: Borderless Mission for the PlayStation Vita this year.

Update: Spelling of Okada's name fixed. Thanks, grendelprime4.
