Maoh: Juvenile Remix Stage Play's Digest Video Streamed

Ryōsuke Ikeoka stars as Junya Andō in play currently running in Tokyo

The staff of the stage play adaptation of Maoh: Juvenile Remix began streaming a digest video for the production on Monday. The play opened in AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo on April 18 and will run through April 26. The play will then be performed in Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture's New Kobe Oriental Theater on May 1 and 2.

Ryōsuke Ikeoka of male actor group D-BOYS is playing the lead character Junya Andō. Four-member theater troupe is *pnish* members Daiki Sano, Eiji Moriyama, Noboru Washio, and Yūa Tsuchiya are playing Semi, Asagao, Master, and Inukai, respectively. Other cast members include Ryosuke Mikata as Anderson, Ry☆ as Suzumeba, Tatsuya Kageyama as Andō (older brother), and LaSalle Ishii as Tatsumi. Katsuhide Suzuki is directing the play, and also penned the scripts.

Maoh: Juvenile Remix is Megumi Osuga's enhanced manga adaptation of Kōtarō Isaka's Maoh novel. The manga ran in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine from 2007 to 2010, and a total of ten compiled volumes have been published. Viz publishes the manga in English in North America.

The manga revolves around Andō (given name not given), Junya's elder brother who has the ability to make anyone near him say whatever he thinks. After Andō realizes that the head of self-defense force named Inukai is doing cruel, twisted things in order to control people, he decides to use his ability to fight back. The stage play takes place [Highlight white text to read spoilers] after the death of the older brother Andō, and focuses on Junya.
