A Lull in the Sea Blu-ray Special Edition Released July 20

MVM has confirmed that it will release the special edition of Nagi no Asukara: A Lull in the Sea on July 20, with an RRP of £119.99. The special edition will be a limited run of a thousand Blu Ray box sets containing three discs with Japanese and English dubs; the hardcover artbook; two Soundtrack CDs; and a special edition box.
Nagi no Asukara: A Lull in the Sea
Long ago humanity lived in the sea, but some humans longed for the land and cast aside the raiments given to them by the sea god that allowed them to live in the ocean. One civilization was now two with very different ways of thinking and over time they forgot they were once one people. When their high school closes down, four ocean dwellers, Hikari Sakishima, Manaka Mukaido, Chisaki Hiradaira and Kaname Isaki are forced to live on the surface. But after they befriend land dweller Tsumugu Kihara their lives unfold in strange and beautiful ways.
Toshiya Shinohara (Black Butler, The Book of Bantorra) directed the 26 episode series off scripts supervised by Mari Okada (Black Butler, The Book of Bantorra, anohana, Hana-Saku Iroha). Buriki (Haganai, Ground Control to Psychoelectric Girl) was in charge of the original character designs and Ray performed the opening theme song and Nagi Yanagi performed the ending theme. The series premiered in Japan on October 3 2013.
