Rock Band Back-On to Perform at Otakon Matsuri Street Festival

Maryland convention Otakon announced on Friday that rock band Back-On will perform at the Otakon Matsuri on July 23. The Otakon Matsuri is an outdoor street festival held at West Shore Park in Baltimore's Inner Harbor the day before the convention.
The four-member band has performed theme songs for anime such as Air Gear, Eyeshield 21, Fairy Tail, Gundam Build Fighters, and Gundam Build Fighters Try. The band has also performed songs for games, including Gundam Breaker, Gundam G Generation Frontier and Tales of the World Mythology 2.
Otakon will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center from July 24-26. Previously announced guests include Ore Ska Band, manga artist and character designer Hiroyuki Takei, directors Ei Aoki, Yuichiro Hayashi, Seiji Kishi and Shinji Takamatsu, producers Shizuka Kurosaki and Toshiyuki Nagano, voice actor and singer Toshiyuki Toyonaga, voice actress Romi Park, and chief creative officer Masao Maruyama, chief executive officer Yasuaki Iwase, and producer Toru Kubo of Studio MAPPA.
