posted on by Egan Loo

The August issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Gene magazine announced more details on the anime of Strike Tanaka's Servamp manga on Wednesday.

The anime will have the following voice cast:

  • Takuma Terashima as Mahiru Shirota, a first-year high school student (top left)
  • Yūki Kaji as Kuro, a servant vampire (top right)
  • Hiro Shimono as Misono Arisuin, a first-year high school student and Lily's master (bottom left)
  • Kazuma Horie as Snow Lily (bottom right)

In addtion, the Oricon Style website reports that Tatsuhisa Suzuki will play the vampire Tsubaki. The website also reports that the anime will air on television.

Seven Seas is releasing the manga in North America, and it published the second compiled book volume in June. The company describes the story:

When a stray black cat named Kuro crosses Mahiru Shirota's path, the high school freshman's life will never be the same again. Kuro is, in fact, no ordinary feline, but a servamp: a servant vampire. While Mahiru's personal philosophy is one of non-intervention, he soon becomes embroiled in an ancient, altogether surreal conflict between vampires and humans.

Tanaka launched the series in Monthly Comic Gene in 2011. Kadokawa published the seventh compiled volume in Japan in December, and it will ship the eighth compiled volume on July 27.

The manga has previously inspired two drama CDs with the following cast:

The ninth manga volume will bundle a rubber strap on December 26 in Japan. The August issue of Monthly Comic Gene is bundling an exclusive magnet sheet:
