The official website for Bandai's Kamisama Minarai: Himitsu no Cocotama (God Apprentices: Secretive Cocotama) TV anime series revealed the main cast and staff on Tuesday.

The cast includes:

Norio Nitta (episode director for Inazuma Eleven, LBX) is directing the series at OLM. Michihiro Tsuchiya (PriPara, Cross Game) is handling the series composition, Shinobu Taiga (animation director for Yumeiro Pâtissière, Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages) is designing the characters, Toshihiko Nakajima (Inazuma Eleven GO, Kobato.) is directing the sound, Ryosuke Nakanishi (Kuroko's Basketball, High School DxD) is composing the music, and Lantis is producing the music.

ERIKA is performing the opening theme song "Korokoro Koko Tama!," and the voice acting unit Melori and the Cocotama Five (made up of the voice actresses for the six Cocotama) are performing the ending theme song "Kokon Poipoi Kokottama!"

"Cocotama" are tiny gods born from the thoughts and feelings of objects that people use with great care. The fact that Cocotama wear part of the egg they hatch out of as underwear is proof that they are still apprentices. The Cocotama use a mysterious magic, and they train hard to be of use to humans and to become full gods. They live inside human houses and stealthily move around to help humans find things they have lost, although they make many mistakes.

The series will premiere on TV Tokyo on October 1, and it will also air on BS Japan, Sendai Broadcasting, TV Shizuoka, RCC Chugoku Broadcasting, Nagano Asahi Broadcasting, and Fukushima TV.

The anime is also spawning its own toy line.
