Elex Media Licenses Attack on Titan: Before the Fall Manga in Indonesia

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced on Tuesday that it has licensed Satoshi Shiki's manga based on Ryo Suzukaze's Attack on Titan: Before the Fall spinoff light novel series. Elex Media published the manga's first Indonesian volume under its Level Comics imprint on Wednesday.
The manga's story, set 70 years before the beginning of the Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan manga, follows Kuklo, who is referred to as "The Child of Titans," after being found in a large mass of Titan vomit. He decides to gamble on humanity's destiny while trying to separate himself from his dark upbringing by joining the Scouting Legion.
Shiki launched the manga in the October issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shōnen Sirius magazine on August 26. Kodansha published the manga's fifth compiled book volume in Japan on April 9.
Elex Media publishes Isayama's original Attack on Titan manga in Indonesia under its Level Comics imprint. The company also published Ryo Suzukaze's Attack on Titan: Before the Fall light novel prequel series in Indonesia on June 24, also under its Level Comics imprint, and is also publishing Shiki's Attack on Titan: Junior High comedy spinoff manga.
The live-action Attack on Titan film premiered in Indonesia on Wednesday.
