Comet Lucifer

The planet Gift is a world where glittering blue crystals known as Giftium are buried deep within the earth. In the mining town of Garden Indigo a young boy named Sōgo Amagi ends up involved in a riot caused by his classmates Kaon, Roman, and Otto. Now lost deep within the ruins of a mine Sōgo discovers a underground lake where he meets a mysterious blue-haired girl with red eyes named Felia and now the adventure can truely begin.

Comet Lucifer is an original work, created, scripted and series composition handled by Yuuichi Nomura (Eureka Seven, Lagrange - The Flower of Rin-ne, Gundam Seed). Yasuhito Kikuchi (Infinite Stratos, Macross Frontier) is directing the series at studio 8-Bit. Atsushi Nakayama (Absolute Duo) is the series director, Yûichi Takahashi (Gatchaman Crowds, Macross Frontier) is the character designer and chief animation director, Takayuki Yanase (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Valvrave the Liberator) is the mechanical designer, and Tatsuya Katou (Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club, Medaka Box, Gingitsune) is composing the music.

The group fhána will perform the opening theme song, and voice actress Ayaka Ōhashi will perform the ending theme song. fhána and TRUE (Buddy Complex, Sound! Euphonium) are both performing image songs: "Cosmos no yō ni" and "Story of Lucifer," respectively.
