Gunslinger Stratos 3 Arcade Shooter Sequel Announced

The official website of Square Enix's Gunslinger Stratos arcade shooter game series announced on Thursday that a sequel game titled Gunslinger Stratos 3 has been green-lit. The announcement did not state a release date for the game.
The announcement also teased the silhouettes of new characters for the game, and revealed the new cast (Note: Square Enix has not revealed the official romanization of the characters' names).

Square Enix launched the original Gunslinger Stratos game in 2012, and launched the Gunslinger Stratos 2 sequel in February 2014. A PC adaptation titled Gunslinger Stratos Reloaded launched its alpha test on February 6, and will fully launch later this year. The game series was adapted into a 12-episode television anime titled Gunslinger Stratos: The Animation. The anime premiered on April 4, and Aniplex of America streamed the series as it aired in Japan.
