Saban Brands announced on Wednesday that five-girl pop group Blush are performing the opening theme song for Glitter Force, its adapted version of Smile Precure!. The group is also performing other tracks that will be "featured in music videos throughout the series."

Saban Brands streamed a behind-the-scenes video with a preview of the song "Glitter Force."

Blush debuted in 2010. The Pan-Asian group consists of Angeli Flores and Nikita Vecino from the Philippines, Natsuko "Nacho" Danjo from Japan, Alisha Budhrani from India, and Victoria “Queen V” Chan from China.

The 20-episode first season of Glitter Force will debut worldwide outside of Asia on Netflix on December 18. The show is listed on World Screen with a total of 40 episodes of 22 minutes each. The Smile Precure! anime aired 48 episodes.

Saban Brands describes Glitter Force:

Glitter Force is an all-new animated Netflix original series for kids, which follows five preteen girls who learn that they are a legendary superhero squad known as the Glitter Force and must defend Earth from evil fairytale villains. As a part of the Glitter Force, these fabulous friends transform from ordinary school girls into super powered cool girls. Defending the earth from fairytale villains isn't an easy job, but the Glitter Force proves that nothing is more powerful than friendship!

Blush's Glitter Force music will be released on iTunes and Amazon in 2016.
