Akira Himekawa's New Zelda Manga is Twilight Princess

The official Twitter account of the manga creator duo Akira Himekawa confirmed on Sunday that their new manga series based on Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda games will be based on the 2006 Wii and GameCube game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
The manga will be serialized on Shogakukan's Manga ONE app. The new work will be the pair's return to drawing The Legend of Zelda manga after an eight-year hiatus.
Himekawa revealed a picture with the announcement.
The text on the picture reads: "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will serialize on Manga ONE! (Shogakukan)."
The duo also updated their official website with the news, adding that Shogakukan will reveal more details about the manga's debut at a later date.
The duo previously revealed a picture announcing a new Legend of Zelda manga in July, and had said at the time that they planned to debut the manga in 2015.
The text on the picture reads:
"2015, after 7 years … The Legend of Zelda manga series returns! Please support it!"
"Which version of me can you meet this time? Look forward to finding out!!"
Himekawa serialized The Legend of Zelda manga series from 1998 to 2008. The duo drew a prologue to The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword game in 2011.
Viz Media published 10 volumes of Himekawa's previous Zelda manga in North America, including The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, Four Swords, The Minish Cap, A Link to the Past, and Phantom Hourglass.
Himekawa also drew manga adaptations of Legend of Crystania, Nazca, Astro Boy - Tetsuwan Atom, and Brave Story. Their Gliding REKI manga series was a finalist in the 2007 Japan Media Arts Festival. More recently, they worked on the manga adaptation of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
