Anime Festival Asia Convention's 2016 Dates, Locations Announced

Southeast Asian convention Anime Festival Asia announced on Wednesday the dates and venues for its regional circuit of conventions in Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore this year.
AFA Thailand will take place on August 19-21 at the Siam Paragon - Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok, a different venue from last year's Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre. AFA Indonesia will take place on September 16-18 at the Jakarta International Expo. AFA Singapore will take place on November 25-27 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibit Center.
Anime Festival Asia began in Singapore in 2008, and has since held sister events in Indonesia and — beginning last year — in Thailand. Last year's event in Indonesia drew 60,558 attendees, while the main Singapore event drew 90,669 attendees.
