1st volumes of both manga slated for release on Wednesday

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced on Monday that it has licensed Takeshi Maekawa's Break Shot manga and Yū Asagiri's Minmin! manga. The comapny will release the first volumes of both manga on Wednesday.

Break Shot centers on Oda Nobusuke, the sole member of his high school's billiards club. He is a genius at jump shots. He tries to win as many victories as possible to not only secure funds for his club, but also to win the heart of the student council president Mako Hayakawa. Eventually, the school officially recognizes his club, and soon he embarks on formal matches with other players. The manga follows Nobusuke from his high school competitions to his pro matches, where he faces against his rival Ryōji Kanō.

Maekawa published the manga in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 1987 to 1990. Kodansha published 16 compiled book volumes for the series.

Minmin! centers on the titular character Minmin, a witch who was cursed to be a doll and cast into the human world. One day, Ichiya —a second-year high school student who is smart, handsome, yet poor — picks her up by the roadside. Partly out of desperation, he kisses the doll, and Minmin turns back into a human.

Asagiri published the manga in Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine from 1990 to 1993. Kodansha published five compiled book volumes for the series.
