Convention to take place in Manila on September 17-18

The Best of Anime Convention announced earlier this month that it will host singer Luna Haruna and rock band INKT at this year's event as musical guests.

Haruna debuted in 2011 with her single "Sora wa Takaku Kaze wa Utau," which was used as the ending theme for the Fate/Zero anime. She has since released nine singles and two albums, and has performed theme songs for such anime as Sword Art Online, Sword Art Online II, Monogatari Series Second Season, and Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend. Her new song "Ripple Effect" debuted as the ending theme song to the High School Fleet television anime series on April 9.

INKT was founded by former KAT-TUN member Koki Tanaka after he left the band in 2013. Aside from Tanaka, the band is composed of guitarist Kei Ōuchi, bassist mACKAz, and drummer SASSY. The band has released two singles and one studio album. The band's latest release is their Saisaris mini-album in April 2015. The band concluded a concert tour earlier this year in January, after which keyboardist Kissy withdrew from the band.

The Best of Anime convention will take place on September 17 and 18 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay, Metro Manila.
