FunimationNow announced on its twitter feed that it has added Show By Rock!! Short!! to its summer lineup. The anime is a spinoff from the game-inspired Show By Rock!! series.
Show By Rock!! Short!! will center on the band members of Plasmagica, ShinganCrimsonz, and other bands from the original series. Each 5-minute episode will introduce and feature a different band. The anime will be a "carefree enjoyable" series that shares the worldview of the original TV anime series.
The FunimationNow site also tweeted apologies for delays to its simulcasts of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. and Puzzle & Dragons X, due to 'unexpected issues.' (Both titles are now on the site.)
