Series to stream for premium members in October

Video streaming service Daisuki announced that it will begin streaming Inukami!, Ju-Bei Chan 2 (Jubei-Chan 2: The Counter Attack of Siberia Yagyu), and King of the Braves Gaogaigar (GaoGaiGar: King of the Braves) for premium members in October.

The 2006 television anime Inukami! adapts Mamizu Arisawa's light novel series of the same name. The series also inspired a manga adaptation and an anime film sequel.

In the story, Inukami are dog-like beings that protect the humans from other demons. Keita, a descendant of a historic Inukami-tamer family, lacks his family's gift and so he was forsaken by the family. One day, a beautiful but problematic Inukami named Yoko came into his life.

Seven Seas Entertainment published the manga, but the anime has not previously been released in North America.

Jubei-Chan 2: The Counter Attack of Siberia Yagyu is the 2004 sequel to the 1999 anime Jubei-Chan The Ninja Girl - Secret of the Lovely Eyepatch. Geneon Entertainment released the series on DVD in North America and describes the story:

The spirit of a legendary samurai, Yagyu Jubei, is resurrected in two teenage girls. One is in Jiyu Nanohana, an ordinary junior high student who unwillingly channels the power of the great swordsman through her "Lovely Eye Patch." Then there's Freesia Yagyu, who claims to be the daughter and the rightful successor of Yagyu Jubei herself... A showdown 300 years in the making is about to begin!

Crunchyroll is streaming the first Jubei-chan anime.

GaoGaiGar: King of the Braves debuted in 1997 and spawned an OVA sequel which in turn inspired the Brave King GaoGaiGar Final Grand Glorious Gathering television anime that retells the OVA's story with an alternate ending.

Media Blasters released the series in North America and describes the story:

This is the story of the brave men and women who defend our world. On a desolate road in the snowy mountains, a childless couple wished upon a falling star. The star is revealed to be Galeon, a mechanical lion who delivers the baby Mamoru into their arms. Mamoru grows into an ordinary grade school student - until the day when his class is caught up in a ferocious attack by the mechanoid alien Zonders.

The young cyborg hero, Gai Shishio, is sent by the UN alien defense force "3G." He risks his own life without question to protect Mamoru's class and all of Earth. Drawn by the power of his mysterious origins, Mamoru becomes a member of 3G, joining the ranks of humanity's bravest defenders.

They wage all-out war against the Zonders with their advanced vehicles, weapons and AI robots. When their backs are up against the wall, Gai Fuses with Galeon and 3G's Gao Machines to form the indomitable King of all robots: Gao-Gai-Gar! But even in the face of these awe-inspiring machines, the bravery of humanity in its darkest hour is the true key to victory!

GaoGaiGar: King of the Braves is part of Sunrise's Brave Saga franchise
