Elex Media Licenses Rosario + Vampire Season II Manga

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced on Sunday that it has licensed Akihisa Ikeda's Rosario + Vampire Season II manga. The company will release the first compiled book volume of the manga on December 28.
Rosario + Vampire Season II is a sequel to Ikeda's 10-volume Rosario + Vampire manga. The story follows Aono Tsukune, an average guy who ends up attending Yokai Academy, a school for monsters. While attending the school, he finds himself in a love triangle with Moka, a vampire, and other monster girls. Season II introduces a new character named Koko — Moka's sister, who also enrolls in Yokai Academy — as well as other members of her family. The sequel series also delves into Moka's past.
Ikeda launched the original manga in 2004 in Shueisha's Monthly Shonen Jump magazine, and ended it in 2007. Season II launched in 2007 in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine, and ended in April 2014. Shueisha published 10 compiled book volumes for the original manga, while Season II had 14 volumes. Elex Media began releasing the original Rosario + Vampire manga in July 2015, and published the 10th and final volume on October 26.
The manga inspired the Rosario + Vampire television anime and its sequel Rosario + Vampire Capu2 in 2008. While the first anime adapts the original manga, the second adapts Season II.
