1st volume of manga about inn where people find lost things ships on January 18

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo revealed on Thursday that it has licensed Hozumi's Usemono Yado (Inn of Lost Things) manga. The company will release the manga's first volume on January 18.

The manga's story centers on a mysterious inn called the Inn of Lost Things. Run by a mistress who never seems to age, all who pass through the inn are said to find things that they have "lost." In truth, the inn is a boundary between the world of the living and the dead, and all the customers are those who have passed away, searching for their regrets and unfinished passions in life. The inn's numerous staff, including its mistress, are all people who could not find what they were searching for. The manga tells the story of the customers who pass through the inn, and also tells the story of those who work in it — in particular the story of the mistress.

Hozumi launched the manga in Shogakukan's Monthly Flowers magazine in March 2014, and ended it in October 2015. Shogakukan published three compiled book volumes for the series.

Elex Media is publishing Hozumi's Sayonara Sorcier (bon au revoir, Sorcier) manga about the van Gogh brothers. The company released the first volume on December 14, and will release the second volume on January 18. The manga inspired a stage musical adaptation that ran earlier this year in March. The musical starred Shinji Rachi as Theo, and Ryō Hirano as Vincent. Daisuke Nishida directed the production, and Shuhei Kamimura (Student Council's Discretion) composed the music. The musical is getting a new run from March 17 to 20 next year.
