Kyoto Animation feature film planned for cinemas in February, home release in summer; Zeta Gundam delayed

On Anime Limited's new podcast, Andrew Partridge commented on the upcoming cinema and home release of Kyoto Animation's feature film A Silent Voice:

(Re cinema release) 'It'll be out in general in February - we planned a January start, but we had to clear things with 'My Generation' being used in the opening, to make sure it was clear for usage before we proceeded.' (The film includes THE WHO song 'My Generation' on the soundtrack.) 'We're just setting a date... The goal is a reasonable number of screens, obviously not your name. level.

'We are planning to dub it on home video, not for theatrical (and) release it on home video in summer this year.'

Partridge also mentioned the Gurren Lagann: Movie Collection Blu-ray as coming out in February (Amazon UK lists it as February 6). It will contain Gurren Lagann the Movie –Childhood's End-, Gurren Lagann the Movie – The Lights in the Sky Are Stars and Gurren Lagann Parallel Works. It will also include a 40-page art book.

The cinema release of Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale is planned for March.

Black Butler: Book of Circus is planned for the first half of the year.

Both parts of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam have been delayed again. (Part 1 was delayed because BBFC certification has taken longer than expected). Part 1 will be in February; Part 2 is TBC, but will 'follow quickly,' a month or two after the first part (provisionally the end of March).
