Elex Media Licenses Remlerose no Majo Manga Based on Haruka Shimotsuki Album

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced on Wednesday that it has licensed Chizu Kamikō, Haruka Shimotsuki, and Nao Hiyama's Remlerose no Majo (The Witch Remlerose) manga. The company will release the manga on February 22.
The manga's story begins when Roshelle, a gentle-hearted man who lives in a village, prepares to go to a well-known school for knights. During a feast celebrating the new knights' investiture, Rochelle's younger brother leads him outside, where he sets foot on a forbidden shrine. There, Rochelle is cursed by a witch to die in seven days. To free himself from the curse, Rochelle journeys to a castle nestled deep inside a misty forest, where he finds a beautiful girl possessed by the witch.
The manga is based on Shimotsuki's "fantasy vocal album" of the same name, with lyrics by Hiyama. The album shipped in October 2013, and the manga launched in Ichijinsha's Zero-Sum Ward magazine in the same month. The manga ended in 2014, and Ichijinsha published the manga's one compiled book volume in July 2015.
