The staff of Donuts' Tokyo 7th Sisters smartphone game revealed a key visual and a jacket visual for the animated music video "t7s Longing for summer Again And Again ~Harukaze~" (t7s Longing for summer Again And Again: Spring Breeze) on Saturday. The 10-minute video is slated to ship on Blu-ray Disc with a CD single for 777☆SISTERS' song "Harukaze ~You were here~" in April.

Sunday marked the third anniversary of the game's debut. The game's official YouTube channel began streaming a third anniversary video on Sunday that reveals the smartphone app will get its next big update in March.

The "Tokyo 7th Sisters 3rd Anniversary Live 17'→XX -CHAIN THE BLOSSOM- in Makuhari Messe" event will be held in Chiba's Makuhari Messe convention center on April 22 and April 23. The second wave of the advance ticket lottery for the event is open now.

The staff announced the animated music video in August as "Part 1" of an animation video adaptation project for the franchise. MKS is designing new characters for the animated music video, and Shintarō Motegi is writing the script, drawing the storyboards, and serving as chief director of the project. Chiptune is animating the video.

In the game, players take on the role of the new manager in a studio called "777" (pronounced "Three Seven") and scout for promising young idols. The game mixes an emphasis on story and character development with a rhythm game aspect. The idols compete to win admiration from fans and develop their ability by singing original songs written by young artists "of the Vocaloid generation." The game's opening video also features animation.

The game features more than 35 main characters. Inori Minase, Ai Kakuma, and Sakura Nakamura, among other voice actresses, voice roles in the game.

Donuts released the "idol-raising rhythm and adventure" game on iOS in February 2014, and on Android in November 2014. The franchise has also inspired several manga and novel adaptations.
