Arcade-like action game launched in Japan on April 13

Nintendo is listing that it will release game publisher and developer Flyhigh Works and indie developer Skipmore's Kamiko game on the Switch in the United States on April 27. The game will cost US$4.99 and will be available on the Nintendo e-Shop.

Flyhigh Works began streaming an introduction video for the game on April 12.

Nintendo describes the game:

Wield your weapon bestowed by the gods, and open the gates between worlds!
KAMIKO is a game styled around Japanese Shinto beliefs.
Fight as priestesses called "KAMIKO" and battle against demons while solving puzzles to make your way through the stages.
Look no further if you are looking for an arcade action game with a twist!
Each stage has several Torii (gates) which are magically sealed.
Find a way to break all the seals to make your way to the stage boss.
Another fun and easy original created by indie games SKIPMORE .

The playable characters, from left to right in the image below, are water shrine maiden Yamato, earth shrine maiden Uzume, and fire shrine maiden Hinome.

The game arrived in Japan digitally on April 13.
